Designed by famed Charlotte architect Harry Schrader, the new three-level clubhouse was completed in July 2006 and is more amazing than anyone imagined. The natural stone exterior combined with copper conical accents make the clubhouse exterior warm and inviting. Travel inside to the remarkable lobby where casings have been made from the original clubhouse wood.
Located on the main level are the Members’ Grill, Ballroom, Golf Shop, kitchen, and multi-purpose room. The Grill seats up to 75 and includes a small veranda, a full bar and a surplus of atmosphere. The Ballroom, complete with a removable dance floor, an area for a band or DJ and an outdoor covered terrace, can accommodate up to 200 guests. Retractable walls add to the room’s versatility, allowing it to be sectioned into two smaller areas. The Golf Shop overlooks the course and offers an abundance of golf clubs and accessories, as well as the latest styles in golfing apparel.
Administrative offices are located on the second floor. The lower level includes a snack bar window for golfers, access to the pool area and cart and bag storage. The men’s and the women's lounges are located on the lower level and include card tables, a plasma television, snack bar access and showers.
Outside, the junior Olympic size saltwater pool includes a slide and children’s pool which overflows into the main pool. Ample seating is available around the pool as well as an enclosed cabana with restrooms.
